The heir-to-the-throne is hoping to expand his staff with social media and content executive to embrace 21st century technology. The exciting role will be based a short distance from Charles’s stunning Highgrove Estate in Gloucestershire as well as Buckingham Palace. The Prince of Wales is looking for someone to prepare editorial website content, as well as manage the media for Royal engagements.
The lucky applicant will also have the chance to travel with the royals on their official visits, including oversees trips.
The advert said: “You’ll be supporting the official duties of a number of different members of the Royal Family. “
It added: “Although based primarily at Buckingham Palace, you’ll also travel in the UK or overseas to support important visits and engagements, which will expand your skills further.
“Whether covering a Garden Party, award ceremony or Royal engagement, you’ll make sure our communications consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences.”
The role to manage Charles and Camilla’s media presence comes with a handsome salary of £30,000 per annum .
The opportunity comes as the younger royals increase their presence and engagement with fans of social media.
