Traditional masculinity is DEAD. The secret to male sexual stamina is veggies, says Peta in its new ad campaign. Social media is now asking for an explanation.
Increase your sexual stamina, go vegan!! Huh, what?
After Gillette, Peta (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) has come out with an obscenely disturbing ad campaign. The video that shouts out loud ‘Going vegan will increase your sexual stamina’ was released recently. What they did not realise was that vegans might stop eating veggies after watching the advertisement.
Though this is not the first time for Peta to come up with a controversial advertisement campaign… but probably none of their earlier ads have irked social media this bad.
Peta’s new campaign seems to be inspired by Gillette’s ‘Toxic Masculinity’ ad that has gone viral on the internet for all the wrong reasons. The ‘Toxic Masculinity’ ad by Gillette has grabbed a lot of eyes. Peta’s aim too, has always been making headlines with ad campaigns.
Even for their previous ads, they have not shied away from making celebs strip for posters or use graphic animals for calendars. Their latest one can somewhat be placed under the soft pornographic section.
The ad shows men with enlarged vegetables hanging from their pants as they dance and thump into the camera. There is an EDM track playing in the background. You can watch the video here; however, viewer discretion is advised.
More than the advertisement itself, the comments of the viewers are eye-grabbing. We have collected some of the best ones for you.
The last one is our favourite.
